The Taiwan Association of Orthodontists is a
professional association whose members are dedicated to:
- advancing the practice of orthodontics as a specialist branch of dentistry.
- promoting & maintaining high ethical & professional standards
amongst orthodontists for the benefit of
the dental heath of the nation.
Full membersmust meet the requirements of their
Taiwan Dental Board for an orthodontic specialist
which are currently:
- at least two years of post-graduate education in an accredited university program.
- at least two years practice restricted to orthodontics.

by the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists.
The Taiwan Orthodontic Board is central to the long-term development of educational and treatment standards within the discipline of orthodontics.

The Journal of Taiwan Association of Orthodontists is the official publication of the Taiwan Association of Orthodontists.
The TAO publishes original research papers, clinical reports, book reviews, abstracts from other journals, and other material which is of interest to orthodontists and in the interest of their continuing education.
