Scientific Communications

1. The Organizing Committee invites submission of abstracts for presentation at the 3rd Asian Implant Orthodontic

Conference (3rd AIOC): Abstracts will be considered for oral, poster and table clinic presentations.

2. The maximum allotted time for each oral presentation will be 8 minutes followed by 2 minutes for questions

and answers.

3. Poster size should not exceed 0.9m (width) x 1.5m (height) , Board size: 1m (width) x 2.44m (height).

4. The 3rd AIOC will provide a 0.7m wide x 1.84m long x 0.7m high table and 2.44m (height) x 1m (width) x

2pcstack boards to all table clinicians at no charge for display of clinical materials. Table clinicians are

expected to stay with the table during the display hours to answer questions and clarify material.

5. The official language is English.

6. All Oral, Poster and Table Clinic participants must complete the Abstract Form, Please follow strictly the

guidelines below, as failure to comply may lead to rejection of the abstract.

7. All abstracts must be submitted together with a completed registration form and payment for registration.

8. The Scientific Sub-Committee will only consider abstracts that are received by 15th September 2004 and

pre-senting authors will be notified by 30th September 2004.

Abstract Guidelines

1. The title should be brief  not more than 50 characters that include space, clearly indicating objective of the

study. Titles should be typed in all capital letters. Do not subtitle.

2. State names of author(s) and details of institution, city and country after the title. The family name of each

author should precede the initials of the first name. Omit degree, titles etc. The institution, city and country

of each author should follow the author's name. Underline the name of the presenting author.

3 The text should be typed or printed in the box, using single line spacing and Times New Roman 10 point font.

Do not indent titles or paragraphs. Do not include drawings/charts in abstracts. Do not erase or type outside

the box. Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted.

4. All abstracts must be completed in English.

5. The abstract form should mail, E-mail or facsimile to the Conference Secretariat by 15th September 2004.

6. The preferred method of presentation (oral, poster, table clinic) should be entered in the boxes provided.
